The tale of a young film studio assistant's blossoming relationship with screen goddess Marilyn Monroe, set against a backdrop of the making of The Prince and the Showgirl. As Monroe struggles on and off-screen with co-star Sir Laurence Olivier, a 23-year-old assistant escorts the recently married star around London. In the absence of her new husband, the lonely diva finds solace in the young man's company as her relationship deteriorates.
